Gerald Gardner, the founder of modern Gardnerian Wicca, defends his faith in witchcraft against centuries of bad light in this Montreal Gazette Interview.
Gerald Gardner, known also by his craft name Scire, popularized contemporary Paganism by founding his own tradition, Gardnerian Wiccan. He was an author who used his talents to promote his faith and dispel rumors and negative attitudes toward witchcraft. In this interview with The Montreal Gazette, he defends witches and their faith.
