Justin Bieber has used the Bible as a way to apologize for the racist comments he made when he was younger.
A series of videos have surfaced this week showing a 14-year-old Bieber repeatedly using the N-word, talking about joining the Ku Klux Klan, and killing black people.
This is his second form of apology. Earlier, he issued a formal statement to Britain’s The Sun saying “I need to step up and own what I did.”
Last night on Instagram, Bieber posted a photo of a page from the book Jesus Calling, by Sarah Young. The book is a daily devotional. The page discusses “man’s tendency to hide from his sin,” “receiving forgiveness,” and includes several Bible passages.
Bieber is a Christian and even has a cross tattooed on his chest. Last fall, he made headlines for his religion when he attended mass at Hillsong Church in NYC.
