Background on the Hillsong Conference

The Hillsong Conference is an annual gathering of worldwide members and other guests of the Hillsong Church of Australia. The Hillsong Church is a Pentecostal Christian group or church founded by Frank and Brian Houston and is located at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The church is very popular for its combination of emphatic religious teachings, regular music and album releases, and of its annual Hillsong Conference where delegates aim to achieve a better and more meaningful life by finding and honoring God. Because of its growing popularity, the church now has reached parts of Europe, the US, and Latin America.

Justin Bieber aims to change his public image

Everyone knows that Justin Bieber has been involved with numerous scandals including legal problems in recent years. And now, he wants to rebrand his image for the good by asking help from other celebrities, being more sensible at shows, and by becoming “more religious.”

As a supporter and part of the Hillsong Conference, he hopes to “find God”. The church representatives confirmed his presence at the event but clarified Justin’s attendance was not merely for publicity. “People come from across the world to Sydney each year to attend the Hillsong Conference. Justin is here – like tens of thousands of others – as a delegate who is seeking to build stronger foundations in life”. The church avoided making additional remarks about Bieber’s attendance out of respect to his privacy.

Bieber was said to have been invited to the conference by his Pastor friend Carl Lentz.

The public is skeptical of Justin’s intentions

A lot of people are still not convinced with Justin’s most recent “religious acts”. It’s because just several days ago, the pop icon was again caught in another issue when he and Hillsong pastor Joel Houston were spotted leaving a nightclub in Hollywood.

And during the conference, Justin was busier “snapchatting”, photographing his shoes, and chatting with his seatmate than listening and participating to the program. This observation was seconded by fans and people who observed his acts at the venue.

His rumored girlfriend Hailey Baldwin also arrived in Australia on a separate flight and the two were spotted together leaving the conference. People think that it’s just an opportunity for the two to meet up.
