Vin Diesel joins Sharon Riley and the Faith Chorale in Toronto to sing “Oh Happy Day.”

Vin Diesel is one of the Hollywood's toughest top action stars. However, people were able to see his soft side in the 2005 movie, The Pacifier, in which he had to babysit three kids of different ages. Yesterday, downtown Toronto church witnessed yet another side of the movie actor. He sang Oh Happy Day with the 13-member choir group of Sharon Riley and the Faith Chorale.

Of course, it was for his upcoming movie xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, the latest installment in the xXx franchise, and the church was empty except for the choir members and the film crew. However, the video is going viral in social media.

It was a dream-come-true for Diesel. According to him, he always dreamed about having the confidence to sing in a choir. He used to accompany his grandmother to the church every weekend, however, he never had the confidence to get up on to the choir loft and sing with the choir. A feat, that he thought was not possible, Diesel did deliver.

Within a ”circle of love with Sharon Riley and the Faith Chorale,” said Diesel, he sang his heart out. He sang with spirit, at times slamming his hand on the pulpit, showing his gusto. According to Diesel, the choir scene was included in the movie after a dream he had the other day.

Vin Diesel loves music. The actor himself said that during many interviews. Recently, at the People’s Choice Awards, he sang See You Again to honor Paul Walker. Paul Walker was Diesel's best friend, who tragically passed away in a car accident two years ago. Diesel used to be a professional break-dancer as well.

Vin Diesel's real name is Mark Sinclair. He was born in the year 1967. He is best known for his Dominic Toretto character in The Fast and the Furious film series. Apart from acting, he also directs, produces, and writes scripts for movies. Diesel made his stage debut at the age of seven. His first movie role was a brief appearance in the 1990 movie, Awakenings. He got his first major breakthrough-leading role in the 2000 movie, Pitch Black, in which he portrayed the role of the anti-hero, Riddick.

Sharon Riley and the Faith Chorale are not new to the movie world. According to CTV News, the award-winning gospel group made their debut in the 1998 movie, Blues Brothers 2000.
