This spiritual and magical journey started for this Canadian couple when they created a set for a local home and garden show. Their set was so beautiful and creative that they received immense praise and were requested to do more work. The following year, the couple designed a Rapunzel-themed play set. This new play set of theirs received even more applause and they became a local sensation. Tyson sold his landscape company following the attention he received for his Rapunzel set and decided to start building playhouses and treehouses full time. Since then, the demand for the couple’s work has only been increasing. A new company devoted entirely to playhouse and treehouse building was started, named Charmed Playhouses.
Following the overwhelming reception their company received, the couple thought it would be a great idea to take their creativity to television. The couple will be hosting a new TLC series called the Playhouse Masters which will air August 23. Many celebrities will be featured on the show, including NBA MVP Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Law & Order‘s Alana de la Garza, and Ali Landry.

The couple says that faith in Jesus Christ has become more important in their lives now than it ever was. A family of five, the couple says that it was their faith in Christ that has “enabled to balance every aspect of their family life.”
Audrey Leavitt feels that the path they are on now is one that the Lord has chosen for them. Though she says they have not yet figured out what exactly it is that they are doing, they firmly believe and hope that whatever they do will represent their Faith and Church in ways that can make God feel proud. Continuing on this hopeful note, Audrey hopes that if this is truly something that God has guided them towards, then the outcome of their TV show will be something much more than just the playhouse structures.
The couple is blessed with three more engineers on their team- their children Emmett, Miles and Lydia. The couple calls them their “official playhouse testers.”
