Adding to the #InTheirOwnWords series, today we have three new archived interviews to present.

First up, is a 2008 interview from The 700 Club with Lakewood Church’s Joel Osteen, in which he talks about overcoming his shyness, building his church with his wife to over 40,000 attendees, and his father’s legacy as the founder of Lakewood Church.

Next, in his first ever network television interview, David Miscavige discusses falsehoods about Scientology, how the religion helps people, psychiatry abuse, and how Scientology is similar to and different from other religions.

Finally, we present a radio interview with Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, conducted by Terry Gross of NPR. Rauf was at the center of controversy in NYC post-9/11. As a moderate Muslim in America, he discusses the misconceptions about Islam and how his religion has affected his life in the United States.
