The Duggar family is again defending the actions of their 27-year-old son, Josh Duggar, after leaked information on his infidelity and pornography addiction.

When hackers posted several gigabytes of data on Ashley Madison’s users earlier this week, Duggar was quick to be caught as one of the paying members who used the site to cheat on their spouses.

Earlier this year, it was exposed that Josh Duggar had molested his younger sisters when he was a teenager, as well as another young girl. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, Josh’s parents, issued a statement saying in part “Christianity is not about being perfect.”

Duggar was identified on the leaked Ashley Madison data by his name and the address of his grandmother’s home in Fayetteville, Arkanasa, which was frequently shown on the family’s TLC TV show. Gawker has detailed information on the type of sexual relationships Josh was looking for.

Josh was the executive director of the Family Research Council who frequently spoke out against gay marriage and preached conservative Christian family values, all while knowingly cheating on his wife. He resigned from the position after news broke that he had a history as a molester.

In a statement released Thursday, Duggar said the following:

“I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.”

The statement has been edited several times, and now does not mention the pornography addiction. It is preceded by a statement from Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar:

“Please see the statement below from our son Josh regarding recent media stories about him. When we learned of this late last night our hearts were broken. As we continue to place our trust in God we ask for your prayers for Josh, Anna, our grandchildren and our entire family.”

Josh has been married to Anna Duggar since 2008. The two have four children together and do not believe in birth control. His membership with Ashley Madison was from February 2013 to May 2015.

Christian video blogger Sam Rader has also been linked to a paid Ashley Madison account. The young father and husband, who uses his YouTube audience to espouse his family values and Bible study, began using Ashley Madison in September 2013. He is best known for his viral video last month in which he surprised his wife by using her urine to take a pregnancy test without her knowing. She is currently pregnant with their third child.
