Bieber says he is “struggling a lot.”

Fans of Justin Bieber were greeted on the morning of March 10 by their idol informing them via social media of his struggles.[/tweetit] According to the Canadian singer, he took to Instagram to keep his fans updated about himself and hoped what he is going through will strike a chord in them. Bieber said he is struggling a lot nowadays and feeling "super disconnected and weird." He then assured his fans he is not worried as he always bounces back. The singer had one demand though: he wanted his fans to pray for him, saying God is faithful and prayers work. The Instagram request had an old photo of himself between Kanye West and Scooter Braun.

The 25-year-old singer, who minted millions through his “Love Yourself” song, did not specify the challenges he faces but typed the emotional message to his 105 million followers. This is not the first time Bieber publicly opened his heart to the world. During an interview with Vogue in February, the singer revealed a much darker period in his life. He told the interviewer that acute depression hit him in 2017 when he was touring for his album Purpose. He said he has not yet talked about this and was "processing so much stuff." He confessed he was lonely and required some time. Bieber then turned to Xanax to help him tide over that period. The compound assisted him in disassociating from reality.

According to Bieber, he found himself engaged in activities which he was not proud of, like being super promiscuous. His mother has taught him to respect women, and he took Xanax as he was ashamed. The drugs he took during that time inserted a screen between him and what he was doing at that time. As per Bieber, the world became so dark that his security used to come in late during the night to verify whether he was alive.

According to Bieber, always being in the public eye has taken its toll on him. The Canadian was talent scouted by Scooter Braun when he was only 13 years old. Braun discovered him on YouTube. The singer claims even thinking about singing now stresses him out.
