During a medical emergency Tim Tebow prayed with patient’s family on a Delta Airlines flight.

Remember Tim Tebow’s NFL career?

Probably not.

But, do you remember Tebowing?

Probably.

On a recent Delta flight from Atlanta to Phoenix, Tebow came to the aid of a passenger who was having heart problems in the best way he knew how, reports Relevant magazine: by praying.

Another passenger, Richard V. Gotti, witnessed the entire scene and posted his story on Delta’s official Facebook page. Gotti said that other passengers and flight personnel tried to revive the man, who had gone unconscious. He said people did CPR, started an IV, and used an AED machine.

Gotti said that he then recognized Tim Tebow, who was meeting with the family of the ailing man, and allowed them to cry “on his shoulder.” Tebow also prayed with the entire section of the plane, and even though they weren’t having any luck getting a pulse back, Tebow never gave up, and neither did anybody else on the plane.

In fact, they did get a pulse back when they landed in Phoenix, and Gotti praised Tebow and thanked God “that we still have people of faith who in times of difficulty look to the Lord.”

While Tebow’s NFL career was short-lived with stops in Denver, New York, New England and Philadelphia, his college career was a huge success. He won the Heisman Trophy in 2007 as the quarterback of the University of Florida.

Tebow, who now works for ESPN, has always been outspoken about his religious beliefs, displaying them both on and off the field. It became such a common sight to see him on one knee praying during games that a fan coined the term “Tebowing,” defined as dropping to a knee to pray, even if everybody around you is doing something totally different.

While pundits and fans alike questioned Tebow’s consistency as an NFL passer, nobody can question his unwavering faith in God.
