Mike O’Brien, who previously served as a writer at Saturday Night Live, recruited Johansson to voice a “Sexy Bible” track on this comedian album Tasty Radio. In an exclusive interview with O’ Brien, he explains to the Rolling Stone that the track reflects on some ridiculous Bible verses from the book of Deuteronomy.

He said that "The Old Testament is filled with beautiful stuff, but also some weirdly specific, random rules and speeches. Deuteronomy could be called 'Laws for Stuff That Will Never Apply to almost 99% of Civilization."

Some of the ‘weirdly specific verses’ as he termed them revolved issues to do with what one was expected to do if he came across a dead animal or what to do to a woman who comes to rescue her husband during a fight. The other most ‘sexy bible’ verses that Scarlett Johansson seductive voice emphasizes in her sexy character are:

What to do in case you notice a beautiful woman among the captives (you should take her as your wife, bring her home and make her shave her head).

Deuteronomy 21:18-21, which says 'If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son, his father and his mother shall bring him to the elders of the gate of his town. 'They shall say to the elders, ''This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious,'' then all the men of his town shall stone him to death.

According to O’ Brien, when he first became preoccupied with Deuteronomy, "I wasn't sure what the comedic take would be when I first became obsessed with Deuteronomy, but I knew a female should be delivering most of it because a lot of the quotes are very misogynistic and who wants to hear a guy make fun of that. I was so thrilled that Scarlett said she'd do it."

Tasty Radio album also features other comedians such as Jason Sudeikis, John Mulaney, Seth Meyers and Fred Armisen. Catch the viral “Sexy Bible” track on its release tomorrow.
