Paula White Says the White House Is “Holy Ground” Because of Her

“I have every right and authority to declare the White House as holy ground because I was standing there and where I stand is holy”

Televangelist, Paula White proclaimed that the White House has been made “holy ground” because of her presence.[/tweetit] Paula White is a supporter as well as key spiritual advisor of President Donald Trump. She recently preached at right-wing pastor Rodney Howard-Browne’s The River Church in Tampa, Florida.

White made the statement that the “Church is Christ’s body in which he acts and speaks and by which he fills everything…including the White House, including government halls.” She then said that God doesn’t just fill their Churches but in fact fills everything there is with his gracious presence.

Paula White posed the question about how God does the above. She explained that God does it through everyone, including her. She went on to say that wherever she went, God rules, and even illustrated this statement by saying that whenever she walks on White House grounds, God too walks on White House grounds.

She went on to say that God walked in The River when she walked in The River. She even used her visits to the dry cleaners as an example by saying that whenever she goes to the dry cleaners, it becomes holy. She then said, “I have every right and authority to declare the White House as holy ground because I was standing there and where I stand is holy.”

Some people have criticized White’s words as she never explained what it means for the White House to become holy. They have said that her logic dictates that the White House is only holy when she’s there and that it isn’t holy when she isn’t there. This would mean that there aren’t any Christians in the White House.
