Stephen Baldwin: Loving Jesus is his priority

Stephen Andrew Baldwin, the youngest of the Baldwin brothers, is an American actor, producer, director and author. He is best known for his roles in movies like The Usual Suspects, The Flyboys, and The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas. He is also a Christian evangelist. His path to being a Christian evangelist was paved by a housekeeper he once hired while living in Tucson, Arizona, with his family.

According to Baldwin, his wife, Kennya Baldwin, asked the housekeeper why all the songs she frequently sang while working around the house were always about Jesus. The housekeeper smiled and told them that there are other reasons, besides her cleaning the house, for her being there. She also prophesized that the couple would one day become born-again Christians and that they would have their own ministry. Stephen Baldwin became a born-again Christian after the 9/11 attacks. The same year, along with Bobby Brewer (an American pastor) and Mario D'Ortenzio, Baldwin founded the Breakthrough Ministry. In 2008, he founded the Antioch Ministry. In 2009, he launched his 3rd ministry called Jesus Now More Than Ever.

Baldwin confesses that before finding Jesus, all he cared about was making money. His only focus was on his career, and himself. So, when the housekeeper prophesized that he would find religion, he found it ludicrous. According to him, he was at the highest point of his career and he was making an insane amount of money. The idea of becoming a born-again Christian and starting ministries has been ridiculous for him at that point of time. However, that was the beginning of the journey for him, Baldwin says. Later, he got to a place of willingness where he just said that he believes in Jesus Christ, the savior of the world. He asked God to show him the way. He said he would read Bible, and follow the teachings of Jesus. At that point of time, the whole experience became very real for him.

Baldwin says that right now the priority for him is loving Jesus. It may sound hokey, but that is the truth. His life is in the hands of God now.

Stephen Baldwin is in the process of starting a Bible study for helping the young people. According to him, it is important to share the gospel with the youth. The young people today are seeking for a true encounter and an experience with the truth. He would tell his children or anyone that Jesus Christ died for them so that they could come into this life.
