Trump is finding increasing support in Sikhs, Muslims and Hindus, the same groups he’s targeted against.

While the anti-Muslim and anti-immigrant rhetoric of Donald Trump might have rubbed a lot of people the wrong way and raked up a lot of unwanted controversy, Trumps seems to have a good amount of support from the same groups he’s targeted.

Just after his winning bid at the Nevada caucuses, Trump within no time acknowledged the support from a section of the Hispanic voters. However, mounting evidence from Facebook communities shows Trump seems to have quite a lot of followers amongst Hindu, Muslim and Sikh voters as well.

While the support might not be indicative of the mood of the majority of Hindu, Muslim and Sikh communities; it does add a bit of spine to Donald Trump’s electoral campaign.

A Hindu group that claims to support Trump has taken the campaign for the billionaire to a whole new level altogether through their hashtag #HindusforTrump. Also, a group of Indian-Americans are promoting the candidature of the Republican rear estate doyen through Twitter under their handle @USAHindus4Trump.

The group has also crafted a Trump poster with the billionaire sitting on a Yoga position. The poster shows the Presidential candidate to be sitting upon a lotus colored red, white and blue and pointing towards the heavens. The poster has an ‘Om’ symbol, a mark that is considered to be spiritual and sacrosanct according to a lot of Oriental cultures.

Meanwhile, a group consisting of Muslims and Sikhs from South Asia became a part of the Trump campaign when they held a rally in order to convince their fellow believers that Donald Trump is not against their interests by any stretch of imagination.

The rally was organized under the banners of ‘Muslim Americans for Trump’ and ‘Sikh Americans for Trump’. This was reported by a report from the International Business Times.

The organizers were of the opinion that Trump’s views on the Muslim community was intentionally twisted and taken out of its context by the mainstream media.

In an extreme post on the The Hindus for Trump Facebook page the usual Trump haters in the community are addressed. It explains the grand promises made by Donald Trump to make America Great again. This translates into more jobs, protected borders, less warmongering, treasury surplus and a better life for legal Americans.
