Evangelical Franklin Graham ripped Rep. Hank Johnson’s comment of Jews resembling “termites.”
A Georgia congressman referred to Jewish settlers as “termites,” and the Rev. Franklin Graham didn’t let him get away with it, reports NewsMax.

While speaking to an anti-Israeli organization in Washington, Hank Johnson, a 61-year-old Democratic congressman, likened Jewish people to a stream of termites that took homes away from Palestinians. He went on to say that, “there has been settlement activity that has marched forward with impunity and at an ever-increasing rate to the point where it has become alarming.”
Graham, head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the Samaritan’s Purse global charity, hopped on Facebook to call Johnson’s comments “reprehensible.” Graham also noted that Johnson is a member of the House Armed Services Committee, and that “as a nation we need leaders who support our strongest ally in the Middle East.”
Further, Graham referenced the Bible, reminding his readers that God said “He will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel.”
In his comments, Johnson referred to Defense Minister’s term as “the most right-wing government ever to exist in the state of Israel in its history.” Johnson also said Lieberman was “a guy like Trump.”
Recent Israeli policies in disputed territories have resulted in highways and walls which divide and separate Palestinian neighborhoods from each other.
Graham has spoken about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict before, noting that it resembles passages in the Bible that talk about the end of days. He referred to Luke 21:25 saying, “The Bible tells us that in the end times there will be ‘distress of nations with perplexity.”
Graham has also used Facebook to speak out before, getting online to rebuke Charlotte, NC City Council’s consideration of an ordinance supporting transgender bathroom rights.
With regards to Johnson, Graham finished with this wish. “I hope his district in Georgia replaces him with a representative who respects God and His chosen people.”
