Muslim woman create #CanYouHearUsNow hashtag to take on Donald Trump.
After Donald Trump attacked Ghazala Khan, mother of fallen Muslim-American soldier Humayun Khan, Muslim women banded together by launching a social media campaign known as #CanYouHearUsNow, reports The Huffington Post.

Khan stood by her husband, Khizr Khan, when he spoke at the Democratic National Convention, but did not say anything herself. She later explained to the Washington Post that she was too emotional to speak, given the situation and the large picture of her son displayed behind her. “What mother could?” she asked.
But Trump saw things differently. “Maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say — you tell me,” he told ABC News. Not only was he attacking Khan, but he also launched a thinly veiled attack on Islam itself, questioning its treatment of women.
It didn’t take long for female activists from within the American Muslim community to express support for Khan, and condemnation for Trump.
Posting under the hashtag #canyouhearusnow, Muslim women told personal stories of being teachers, students, veterans, and athletes. They posted pictures of female Muslim athletes and pictures of Muslim women speaking at public events.
Later, Trump said he wanted to hear what Khan had to say, after saying her son was a hero. She responded: “…without saying a thing, all the world, all America, felt my pain. I am a Gold Star mother. Whoever saw me felt me in their heart.”
Khan’s husband, Khizr, had more to say about Trump on the Today Show. “This candidate amazes me, his ignorance. He can get up and malign the entire nation…and yet…I cannot say what I feel?”
The tweets associated with #canyouhearusnow expressed a wide variety of feelings felt and experiences accomplished by Muslim women.

Rim-Sarah Alouane tweeted a picture of herself, then tweeted at Trump: “This is me, giving a talk at @Georgetown. Do I look oppressed to you?”

This is the latest shot Trump has taken at Muslims. He has repeatedly threatened to ban any Muslims from entering the United States, as a means of battling Radical Islamic Terrorism.
