The Nyingma Mandala

The foundation of the Nyingma Mandala of Organizations in the West began in 1969, when Tarthang Tulku (Rinpoche) arrived in Berkeley, California and established the Tibetan Nyingma Meditation Center, the spiritual center of all that would follow. Rinpoche’s vision of wisdom in action lead to the founding of over twenty different organizations. Together, these organizations comprise the Nyingma Mandala of Organizations, whose aim is to create an enduring legacy and a home for the Dharma in the West.
