Mark Wahlberg is a hardworking man. You can see it in his career, his body, his family, and as a Christian. It’s easy to look at him and say he was just lucky. The truth of the matter is Mark Wahlberg has worked extremely hard to get to where he is today. It is not easy balancing your career with your family and your relationship with God. Mark starts his day at 2:30 in the morning. This is because he’s the sort of man who likes to get things done and he believes you can get a lot of things done if your day starts early. Wahlberg spends the first 15 minutes of his day deep in prayer. He prays for people who are less fortunate, people who don’t have God in their life and all of his responsibilities as a husband and father.
He elaborates by saying prayer helps him set the tone for the rest of the day. After prayer, he goes out and does his best to conquer his day.
When asked about how he maintains a strong moral and spiritual compass in Hollywood, he explains by saying the trick is not to get caught up in all the partying and nightlife. He elaborates on this by saying Hollywood isn’t to blame because all of these sorts of things can happen anywhere.
It is commonly believed there is an agenda against people of faith in Hollywood. Mark Wahlberg thinks the contrary. He says he’s allowed to go out and do exactly what he wants whenever he pleases and he’s allowed to do it with both his spiritual and personal life. He’s entitled to live his life the way he wants to as long as he shows up on time and does a good job.
Mark Wahlberg is a shining example of how you really can do it all without forsaking your faith. He is successful career-wise and focuses on his spiritual and family life. It is about your principles and how strongly you feel about them. In a place like Hollywood which is filled with spiritual distractions, Mark Wahlberg is showing the world you can be a man of faith regardless of where you are.
