“Real Housewives” Pagan Witch Casting Spells Trouble Ahead

Carlton Gebbia

The latest addition to Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is not your typical cookie-cutter television wife: She’s actually a practicing Wiccan.

Carlton Gebbia is a 40-year-old interior designer and mother to three children named Mysteri, Cross, and Destiny. She was born in London and has also lived in South Africa before coming to Los Angeles to pursue acting.

She’s already received flack for her children’s eccentric names.

On Bravo TV’s website, she confirms and describes her beliefs:

“I am pagan witch. Yes witch! My grandmother practiced, and I am a solitary practitioner, have been for decades. I never belonged to a coven because we moved so much, but I think covens are essential to a community. I have taken traditions from Wicca and British Traditional Witchcraft to cultivate my own spiritual path. I celebrate the cycles of the sun, moon, and seasons.”

She further clarifies by saying:

“I am polytheistic. I believe in goddess and a god. I believe that within us lies those deities.

I believe in the power of prayer, candles, crystals, and the earth’s natural energies. They are a gift from Mother Nature and work with our vibrations. I believe in the holistic power on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. I am not nor have I ever professed to be an authority on this but what I practice and believe in works for me solely!”

Her self described gothic mansion can be seen in this video.

When asked what religion the rest of her family practices, she responded to Parade Magazine:

“Right now, my children are spiritual. My husband is Catholic, but he’s non-practicing and my girls understand what I believe in and practice. I would never push them to go in my general direction because I want them to decide once they’re old enough to explore different religions and see what calls to them. Whatever fills their souls the way Wicca or witchcraft has filled mine, is something they should gravitate towards.”

She celebrates Christmas with her family, while also practicing her religion solo.

This is sure to be a hot topic among the other housewives. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills began its fourth season this week. New episodes air Mondays at 8/7c.
